Occupation: EC (Special Education) Classroom Teacher
Children: Bill and I have 4 wonderful girls. Elizabeth, named for my high school and forever friend, Elizabeth More…Glavich Womack, is 17 and an artist. She also is quite the actress and received the "Best Actress" award at the Wilson County Arts Council's Act For Youth 2009 Edna's ceremony. Karen, age 14 is also involved in acting, Chorus--All County soloist 2009, and plays trumpet. Amy, age 8, a twin and a hugger, has acted in one Act for YOuth show and is chomping at the bits for another. She sings too and isn't afraid to be on stage infront of a crowd. Ann, age 8 and a twin, loves to create. She keeps herself busy with crafts, drawing, painting, and coloring. She loves to use chalk outside and says she too is going to audition for the next musical. She and Amy sing in harmony and have done duets for churches and teachers' meeting.

After graduation, I attened WCU and graduated in 1984 with a BS in Communication Disorders degree. I worked one year in Union County as a Speech Pathologist, married Bill that summer, 1985, and began working as Speech Pathologist in Haywood County Schools. We remained in Waynesville one year working and pastoring a small church. We moved to Alabama, served as Associate and Youth Minister in a church outside of Cottondale and then moved to Texas for 4 years where Bill completed his Masters in Linguistics. While there I taught resource and Speech Pathology in a small school district in Joshua, Texas while we lived in Fort Worth. Then in 1991, we moved to Marion Indiana and Bill became a professor at Indiana Wesleyan University. We were there 2 years and then moved to New Jersey to pastor a church while Bill worked on his PHd. I did not teach formally in New Jersey but did homeschool Elizabeth and Karen, and taught piano. We moved to Wilson, NC to pastor a small church in 2005. Currently, my dear husband of 24 years is selling cars at a local car dealer. When the church we were pastoring in Wilson closed, we didn't feel God leading us into another ministry situation at this time. We had just bought our first home and didn't desire to uproot our children again after only being here one year. I returned to teaching and was hired locally in Wilson. Since here, I have taught as an EC teacher in a resouce room pull-out program. This year I teach in a self-contained classroom with 12 EC students who are mild to moderately intellectually delayed. This is a new venture for me but one I am enjoying.

Smoke on the Mountain---Homecoming performance was the same weekend of the reunion. I sure did miss being at reunion but as you can see, I was still having a good time. That's me in the front dressed in black out singin' the others.
