1961 — 2016 CLYDE — Angie Strange Ford, 54, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of Hilda Best Gibson, of Canton. Angie enjoyed scrap booking, camping and raising chickens. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bruce Ford; one daughter, Andria Ford Richardson and her husband, Matt, of Waynesville; one son, Alex Ford and his wife, Caroline, of Raleigh; one sister, Pam Stockton and her husband, David, of Canton; and one granddaughter, IvaLee Richardson. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Faith Community Church with the Rev. Matt Pruett officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
